Description
This welding powder is a flux for forge welding in coal, coke, or gas fires. You get 500 grams in a plastic tub.
Use
First, prepare the parts to be welded. Then heat them until red hot and sprinkle the flux onto the weld seam.
If the powder sticks well, keep heating until yellow. That is less hot than with conventional forge welding. As soon as the flux becomes transparent, forge lightly first and then firmly.
Storage
Store in a dry place and close the lid tightly. The powder is an anhydride compound and attracts moisture.
