Parrot Shopping was born in the workshop. Anyone who has stood at the anvil themselves knows how frustrating it is to order tools that look good in a photo and disappoint the moment things heat up. That's where the idea started: one place where you buy tools that have been put to the test before they make it into the range.

What began with a handful of anvils and forges grew into a complete range for the entire workshop: from your first gas torch to a power hammer that runs every day. We work together with smithies, blacksmithing schools and craftspeople all across Europe. Those conversations determine what we stock and what we deliberately leave out.

The parrot stands for the role we want to play. Parrots remember, learn and show the way. We do the same: you get honest advice from us, even if that means you're better off with a cheaper model or should hold off on that purchase a little longer.
