Description
Some anvils ring loudly with every strike. That's caused by vibration in the block. There are two ways to tackle it: set it up differently on wood or in sand, or change the vibration behaviour itself.
This magnet does the latter. You attach it to the anvil, which changes the vibration characteristics and reduces the noise.
Please note
Magnets generate a strong, far-reaching magnetic field. Keep it away from pacemakers, implanted defibrillators and magnetic data storage media.
