Description
This Sievert cartridge contains MAPP gas and fits the Sievert gas torch with Powerjet cyclone burner. The composition is entirely propylene. It reaches temperatures of over 2,400 °C, making it suitable for heating, soft soldering and brazing.
Compared to acetylene, MAPP gas is safer, faster and easier to use. The cartridge is shock-resistant and contains no added toxic gases.
Quality control
Every cartridge is checked on the production line with an automatic weight check. It then spends three minutes in a 55 °C water bath to detect gas leaks. If the weight is off or a leak is found, the cartridge is immediately removed from the line.
