Description
This hardening oil is suitable for a wide range of steel types that need to be quenched in oil during hardening. You get five litres.
Properties
The oil does not evaporate and keeps the same composition at higher temperatures, whereas other oil types change in composition. That means the bath behaves the same with every quench.
As a result, cooling takes place evenly, which greatly reduces the risk of warping. When used correctly, the oil lasts a long time without any noticeable drop in quality.
Recommended temperature
For hardening, keep the oil bath temperature between 50 °C and a maximum of 150 °C.
