Description
This melting furnace processes up to 4 kg of material at temperatures up to 1,450 °C. That lets you melt gold, silver, copper, aluminium, brass, bronze and tin. It's the entry-level model: 7 kg, one burner, and a chamber measuring 150 by 190 mm.
Burner and air supply
Made from 304 stainless steel, with a working pressure between 1 and 25 PSI. Set to a neutral flame at the factory, with a choke so you can adjust it yourself.
That choke controls the air mixture, which determines the temperature you can reach. After all, every working pressure calls for a different air-to-gas ratio.
Fuel
Butane, propane, a combination of the two and LPG all work. Natural gas is not an option.
Lining
The walls get 1 inch of ceramic wool, the door and the base 2 inches. Ceramic brick sits at the bottom.

- 1 gas pressure regulator with gauge, 1 to 90 PSI (0 to 6 bar)
