Description
This version has one closable door, letting you use the forge in different ways and reach a higher operating temperature. The dual burner works with a choke and ball valve, so you can fire with one or two burners.
The chamber measures 400 by 140 by 140 mm and the forge weighs 12 kg. A welding temperature of 1,370 °C is achievable.
Burner and air supply
Made from 304 stainless steel, with a working pressure between 1 and 25 PSI. Set to a neutral flame from the factory, with a choke for your own adjustment.
That choke controls the air mixture, and that determines the temperature you can reach. Every working pressure calls for a different air-to-gas ratio.
Lining
The inside has a 1-inch ceramic coating, and the floor is made of ceramic brick.
Fuel
Butane, propane, a combination of the two, and LPG all work. Natural gas is not an option.
If you're working with one burner, close the choke on the burner that's switched off.
