Description
While other two-burner forges are long and narrow, this one is wide: 320 by 255 by 130 mm. That way you can lay workpieces flat in the forge instead of feeding them through it.
The two doors close horizontally. The forge weighs 14.5 kg and reaches 1,370 °C.
Burner and air supply
Stainless steel 304, working pressure between 1 and 25 PSI, and a factory setting for a neutral flame. You handle the fine-tuning yourself with the choke.
Without that adjustment you'll get stuck: every pressure requires a different air-to-gas ratio, and if that's off, the maximum temperature stays out of reach.
Lining
The interior has a 1-inch ceramic coating. Here the floor consists of three ceramic bricks instead of one, to match the wider chamber.
Fuel
Butane, propane, butane mixed with propane, and LPG are all suitable. Natural gas is not.
If you're firing on just one burner, close the choke on the other.
