Description
One burner, 26 kg and a combustion chamber measuring 140 x 236 x 100 mm. The H1 is Nargesa's entry-level model and the lightest of the three. If you work in a small workshop or heat individual workpieces, this model requires the least space and the least gas. It still reaches 1,300 °C.
Use and application
You can use it to heat various metals for further processing: casting, bending, piercing, welding, tempering or making horseshoes. The door can be closed and locked.
Safety
This furnace carries approval RD919/2006, issued by APPLUS, the General Laboratory for Testing and Research. That approval rests on four components, which you can find in the product image.
- Automatic electric ignition: the spark is generated electrically, so you don't need any tools and your hands stay outside the combustion chamber
- Integrated gas system: all gas components are built into the frame and are therefore protected against impacts and damage
- Thermocouple safety valve: shuts off the gas supply when combustion stops due to a malfunction
- Non-return valve: determines the flow direction of the gas and prevents any backflow to the cylinder
Insulation and emissions
Compacted vermiculite forms the insulation of the combustion chamber. It is a natural material that is fully recyclable, produces no waste and is free of glass fibres and ceramics. The interior has a vermiculite coating.
Carbon monoxide emissions come to 0.002%, certified by the APPLUS Technology Centre. A normal environment sits between 0 and 2.
Fuel consumption
On a 35 kg propane cylinder, the H1 runs for around 100 hours. That is the longest run time of the three models, a direct result of the single burner. Consumption is a quarter of that of comparable furnaces, a saving of 75%.
No fuel is wasted: all the propane entering the chamber is burned. This is thanks to the burners that Nargesa designs and manufactures itself.
Use
If you have just received the furnace, or it has been idle for a long time, heat it for two hours at 200 °C. This removes the moisture from the refractory bricks before you start working at temperature.
