Description
In a small workshop, a vise and an anvil compete for the same square metre. The Kanca Anvillo combines both in a single 17 kg tool. A large anvil plate on top, the vise underneath.
Material and hardness
The whole thing is forged from CF45 steel and hardened to HRC 52-58. All steel, then, no castings, and made in Europe.
The jaws
The jaw width is 125 mm and the inner faces are serrated, so your workpiece won't slip away. The guide feels solid and keeps the jaws closing without any wobble, even after years of use. For delicate workpieces there are magnetic soft jaws, available separately as an accessory.
The anvil plate
You use the plate on the top side for straightening and levelling workpieces. Two screw holes in the solid base plate let you fasten the whole thing to your workbench.
