Description
At 0.13 litres, this is the smallest crucible in the A series, designed for small quantities of precious metal where you don't want to waste anything. The crucible is made of ceramic and intended for the gas melting furnace.

Use
If you have just received the crucible, or if it has been unused for a long time, heat it for two hours at 200 °C. This draws the moisture out of the ceramic before you bring it up to temperature. Clean the crucible before and after each use.
