Description
Three-quarters of a litre sits between the small and large sizes, making it a practical choice if you work with varying quantities.
Made from 99.7% aluminium oxide, usable up to 1,700 °C. Steel and special alloys melt above the limit of a graphite crucible, and that's exactly what this crucible is built for.
Features
- Short heating time
- Even heat distribution
- Little slag adhesion
- Intended for steel grades and special alloys
Use
- Always preheat the crucible thoroughly first
- Do so evenly, as uneven heating causes cracks
- Never exceed 1,700 °C
- Keep the fill level at two-thirds or less
Please note
All sizes in this range were given the same height, diameter and weight in the source data. Since that isn't correct, we don't list those figures here. Please check them when ordering.
