Description
At 3.9 liters, you're in the range where a single melt covers an entire workpiece. The A25 is intended for heavier casting work. The crucible is made of ceramic and designed for the gas-fired melting furnace.

Use
If you've just received the crucible, or if it has been sitting unused for a long time, heat it for two hours at 200 °C. This draws the moisture out of the ceramic before you bring it up to temperature. Clean the crucible before and after each use.
