Description
The GFR.6 neo reaches 1,250 °C in about twenty minutes. The chamber measures 235 by 495 by 195 mm. That lets you heat metal you can then shape into jewellery, artwork or everyday objects.
Construction
The walls are made of 30 mm ceramic fibre board, the floor of 10 mm fibre board topped with 20 mm firebrick. That firebrick can handle up to 1,600 °C, well above what the kiln itself reaches.
Difference from the neo III
This version has two burners instead of three and thinner insulation of 35 mm. As a result, average consumption is lower, but so is the top speed.
