Description
The mid-range option in the ThermAll series: heat-resistant up to 1,540 °C and, at 1,510 grams per brick, slightly lighter than the heaviest model. Manufactured to the ASTM standard, low in carbon and energy-saving, and suitable for use in forges and melting furnaces.
This product is supplied in a set of five bricks.
Applications
The difference from an ordinary brick lies not in flammability but in how it behaves under heat: ordinary bricks crack, these do not. That is thanks to the combination of clay with grog and the production process behind it.
The brick insulates heat and gives no-melt erosion on the working layer. Besides the energy savings, that is especially beneficial for your material, which suffers no damage.
